Fall steak sale on Oct. 8
The Little Rock Air Force Base Chief’s Group will be holding its annual Fall Steak Sale on Oct. 8 at the small base lake pavilion. Tickets are a donation of $10 for a meal consisting of steak, side dishes of pork, beans, salad items and a soda or water. All proceeds will be donated to base programs in the form of scholarships, enlisted development, Airman Leadership School, annual award sponsors and other mentorship programs. Arnold Drive gate now open
The Arnold Drive gate is now open for 24-hour operations. The Harris Road gate is under normal hours of operations (6-8:30 a.m. and 2:30-4:30 p.m.). However, construction is now underway on Vandenberg Drive. At this time the front gate will remain open and traffic will be directed around the construction. Our Civil Engineer Squadron, Security Forces, and contracting partners are working diligently to help alleviate congestion and inconvenience.
