Support group set to meet May 14

Retirements slated

Chief Master Sgt. Greg White, 189th Mission Support Flight, at 1 p.m. May 6 in the Building 118 auditorium. Chief Master Sgt. Doy DeBoard, 189th Maintenance Group, at 10 a.m. May 6, in the Building 207 maintenance training room.


Seminar slated for Saturday

Dr. Gary Chapman, author of “The Five Love Languages” will present his “A Growing Marriage” Seminar at the Jacksonville Community Center from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday.  Tickets are available now until COB May 4. The cost is $35 per couple or $20 per single. To register for this event call the chapel office at 987-6014 (Cash or check only). Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event. The cost of the seminar includes one note taker per person. “A Growing Marriage” is designed to stimulate strong, healthy marriages.

The following non-appropriated-fund jobs are available: lodging, custodial worker, NA-02, flexible hours; club, office automation clerk, NF-II, flexible hours; accounting section, accounting technician NF-II, temporary regular hours; child development center, child development program assistant CC-02, flexible hours and child development program assistant, CC-02, flexible hours.


Summer positions available are: swimming pool, identification clerk NF-I, flexible hours.

Breakfast is May 5

The Little Rock Spouses’ Club is having a “Scholarship and Grant Breakfast” on May 15 at the LRAFB Consolidated Club. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. with breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Menu is quiche, muffins, fruit, coffee, and juice. Cost is $9. Golf tourney May 11

The 62nd Airlift Squadron Blue Barron Booster Club is hosting its annual golf tournament May 11 at Greystone’s Cypress Creek Course. Entry is $40 per person, $160 per team and includes green fees, cart, barbecue dinner and door prizes. Registration is at noon with a 1 p.m. shotgun start.
