Child Development Center quality child care

The Child Development Center has hourly openings on a space-available basis for ages 6 weeks through 5 years from $4.25 per hour. Hours of operation are 6:30 a.m. – 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, call 987-6130 or 987-6070.

19th FSS NAF sale

The 19th Force Support Squadron hosts a NAF sale Wednesday specifically for active duty E-4s and below, Thursday and Jan. 28 for all at Bldg. 940. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. all three days. Items for sale include sofas, mattresses and furniture from temporary living facilities as well as excess furniture and equipment from the conference center and Hangar 1080.

WAPS testing location

The new WAPS testing location is the new university center outside the front gate beginning with the 2011 E6/E7 testing cycle Feb. 1. Airmen are notified of the change when they sign the Air Force form 1566 WAPS testing verification form. For more information, call Jade DeBusk at 987-6366.

Annual awards banquet

The 2010 Annual Awards Banquet, “Honoring Combat Airlift Spirit of Excellence” is 6 p.m. Feb. 2 at the Doubletree Hotel. Tickets are $30. There is an additional charge for parking. Military attire is mess dress semi-formal and civilian attire is black tie business. For more information or to purchase a ticket, contact a squadron first sergeant.

National Prayer Breakfast

The annual National Prayer Breakfast is 7:30 a.m. Feb. 16 at Hangar 1080. Tickets can be purchased Feb. 7 – 14 from the base chapel for $5. For more information, call the chapel at 987-6014.
