Arts Center celebrates Jim Henson

The Arkansas Arts Center will host Jim Henson’s Fantastic World today through Nov. 25. From the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and The Jim Henson Legacy, this exhibition celebrates the prolific mind of Jim Henson, artist, puppeteer, film director and producer. It features 100 original artworks, including drawings, cartoons and storyboards that illustrate Henson’s talent as a storyteller and visionary. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for children. Cruisin' in the Rock set for tonight at Riverfront

Cruisin’ in the Rock is tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at Riverfront Park. Cruisin’ in the Rock: Classic cars, street rods, trucks and motorcycles displayed, great nostalgic music, door prizes for participants, awards presented for Best Cruiser, Best Truck and Best Motorcycle. Murder mystery dinner

MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History hosts Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre tonight. Admission is $42 per person and price includes three-course sit-down dinner, a tour of the arsenal, the murder mystery show, taxes and gratuities.

Folk Dance Days slated for this weekend

Folk Dance Days runs through Sunday at the Ozark Folk Center State Park in Mountain View. Dance workshops for people of all ages, in traditional styles such as clogging, jig and contra. Contact the park to be put on our Dance Workshop mailing list.

Biker Bash in Harrison

The Dogpatch Biker Bash runs through Sunday at the Hub Motorcycle Resort in Harrison.

The Dogpatch Biker Bash is a three day event taking place south of Harrison, Arkansas at the HUB Motorcycle Resort. Activities include entertainment all day, guided rides, vendors, concerts, bike pulls, bike games, biker build-offs, and the best riding in the United States!

Championship balloon race begins today
