Marriage workshop Saturday at chapel

The chapel will host a marriage workshop to improve/upgrade/retool marriages from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. This is not a faith-based program but uses sound principles built on 30 years of research. A children’s program will be provided for ages 2-15.  There is no cost for the workshop and all materials are free. Each couple will receive two couple workbooks and one copy of the book, “Fighting For Your Marriage.” To sign up please call the chapel at 987-6014.

ATA will hold first meeting Thusday

The Little Rock Air Force Base Razorback Chapter of the Airlift Tanker Association will hold its first meeting of the year at 11:30 a.m. Thursday in the Ski Room at J.R. Rockers.

Group seeking coordinators

The Military Equal Opportunity Office is looking for program coordinators and committee members for the following observances:

2007 Days of Remembrance of Victims of the Holocaust (April 15-27).

2007 Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month (May 1-21).

The Special Observance Program is a wing program carried out by special observance committees (not private organizations). These committees come together for a limited time to plan, organize and execute events and activities for DoD recognized special observances. The LRAFB special observance committees are not private organizations and any person assigned to Little Rock AFB (i.e. active duty, retiree, family member, DoD civilian) has an opportunity to be appointed program coordinator and participate as a member of any special observance committee.

The initial meeting for the Days of Remembrance observance is at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday in the MEO classroom.
The initial meeting for the Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month observance is 12:30 p.m. on Thursday in the MEO classroom.

The MEO Classroom is in Bldg. 842, behind the education center.

School in need of AFJROTC instructor

Branson High School, Branson, Mo., is seeking an AFJROTC enlisted instructor.

Prerequisites are as follows:

Permanently retired from the Air Force as an NCO by 1 Aug 07; meets Air Force weight/body fat standards, high standards of military bearing, appearance and moral character.

Desirable prerequisites: baccalaureate degree; if no degree, completion of some college work; experience in supply, administration, and drill and ceremonies; teaching experience; and experience working with youth groups.
